After Morning breakfast, Complete the permit formalities then Passing through the beautiful landscape we proceed to Thimphu (2320 metres/7656 feet) the capital of Bhutan is a beautiful valley with a mixture of modern facilities and culture– On the way visit Wankha waterfalls and halt at Chojun Bridge to take photographs of confluence of two rivers of Bhutan, Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu. Check into Hotel. Evening for Leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
The day begins with a visit to the Motithang Takin Preserve, where you can marvel at Bhutan's national animal, the takin.Visit the Tashichho Dzong, an architectural marvel that echoes with history. Explore the bustling streets, lined with colourful markets and artisan shops. Immerse yourself in Bhutanese art at the National Institute of Zorig Chusum. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum, a treasure trove of Bhutanese artefacts and traditions. Witness the panoramic views from the Buddha Dordenma Statue, a symbol of peace and prosperity. After early breakfast, drive to Paro Town approx 3 Hours. On the way, you can stop to see the Crystal Clear water of river PARO CHUU Paro Airport ViewPoint - The Bird’s Eye view point to look after Paro Valley and Paro Airport. Rinpung Dzong - Built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan, the Dzong houses the monastic body of Paro, the office of the Dzongda (district administrative head) and Thrimpon (judge) of Paro district. The approach to the Dzong is through a traditional covered bridge called Nemi Zam. National Museum of Bhutan - Situated right above Rinpung Dzong in Paro, the National Museum of Bhutan is a house that showcases Bhutan’s culture. Built in 1968, the museum stands inside the ancient Ta-dzong building. The museum houses the collection of finest specimens of Bhutanese culture and art and its highlights are paintings and some bronze statues, which are simply masterpieces. The items are demonstrated in large galleries and you can get to know a lot about Bhutan's art and culture from these objects. Kychu Lakhang Monastery Traditional Dress / Handicraft Shoppe – Near the river side of Rinpung Dzong, it’s a handicraft shop where we find Traditional Bhutanese dresses which tourists can wear and have a few clicks with the amazing view nearby. Early Morning Breakfast, Visit Spend Some Time At Paro, Then Tachog Lhakhang and Bridge (1433 onward) Tachog Lhakhang is one of several temples in Paro believed to have been founded by the Tibetan polymath, Thangtong Gyalpo (1385-1464),the “King of the Empty Plain,” who is now commonly known as the “Iron Bridge Maker” for his pioneering engineering works, including chain-link suspension bridges. Transfer from PARO to Phuentsholing - A drive of nearly 140 kilometers, a drive of approximately 5 – 6 hours - On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different style of stupas adorn this confluence - Drive further through Chapcha and Gedu town
