After an overnight train ride, you’ll be picked up from Hasimara Railway Station and transferred to Phuentsholing, the Bhutanese border town. After permit formalities and an overnight rest, continue into the Kingdom to discover Bhutan’s iconic destinations — 2 nights in Thimphu, Bhutan's vibrant capital, and 2 nights in Paro, home to ancient monasteries and mountain magic.

Return to Phuentsholing for your evening drop at Hasimara Railway Station, where your train back to Sealdah awaits — carrying unforgettable memories of the peaceful Land of the Thunder Dragon.

Your journey begins as you board the overnight train from Sealdah Railway Station in Kolkata. The train tickets, provided as part of the package, will take you comfortably to Hasimara, the nearest Indian railway station to the Bhutan border.
Upon arrival at Hasimara in the Afternoon, you'll be warmly received by our representative and transferred by road to Phuentsholing, Bhutan’s entry town. After checking in at your hotel, you'll complete the necessary permit formalities for Bhutan entry. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the nearby markets of Phuentsholing before enjoying a traditional Bhutanese dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
After Morning breakfast, Complete the permit formalities then Passing through the beautiful landscape we proceed to Thimphu (2320 metres/7656 feet) the capital of Bhutan is a beautiful valley with a mixture of modern facilities and culture– On the way visit Wankha waterfalls and halt at Chojun Bridge to take photographs of confluence of two rivers of Bhutan, Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu. Check into Hotel. Evening for Leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
The day begins with a visit to the Motithang Takin Preserve, where you can marvel at Bhutan's national animal, the takin.Visit the Tashichho Dzong, an architectural marvel that echoes with history. Explore the bustling streets, lined with colourful markets and artisan shops. Immerse yourself in Bhutanese art at the National Institute of Zorig Chusum. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum, a treasure trove of Bhutanese artefacts and traditions. Witness the panoramic views from the Buddha Dordenma Statue, a symbol of peace and prosperity. In the evening, engage with the locals at the weekend market, a vibrant tapestry of colours, aromas, and smiles. Your senses will be tantalised, and your heart warmed by the Bhutanese way of life. After breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel in Thimphu and begin your scenic drive to Paro, a town rich in history and natural beauty. Upon arrival in Paro, you have the option to either explore the town's cultural highlights, including local markets and riverside sights, or embark on the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery trek (Taktsang Monastery) — a rewarding 4-5 hour uphill hike that offers breathtaking views and spiritual serenity. Whether you choose adventure or leisure, the day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Paro.
After an early breakfast, you'll check out and begin your journey back to Phuentsholing, enjoying the last glimpses of Bhutan's countryside. From Phuentsholing, continue onward to Hasimara Railway Station, where you’ll be dropped off by 3:30 PM to catch the 4:00 PM train back to Sealdah, bringing your Bhutan adventure full circle.
In the morning, you'll arrive at Sealdah Railway Station in Kolkata, ending your journey with beautiful memories of Bhutan’s tranquil monasteries, mountain valleys, and heartfelt hospitality.
