The journey continues deeper into North Sikkim, where you’ll witness stunning waterfalls en route to Lachen, a quiet Himalayan village. The crown jewel of this journey is the surreal Gurudongmar Lake, nestled at an altitude of 17,800 ft — a spiritual and visual wonder located close to the Indo-Tibetan border.

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra/NJP – Transfer to Gangtok (125 km / 4–5 hrs)
Meet & greet at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station
Drive to Gangtok with views of the Teesta River
Check-in at hotel & relax
Evening at leisure (optional walk on MG Marg)
Overnight stay in Gangtok
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir – Nathula Pass
Early breakfast
Visit:
Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) – scenic glacial lake
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – a revered site
Nathula Pass (Indo-China border post – subject to permit & weather)
Return to Gangtok by evening
Overnight stay in Gangtok
Note: Nathula Pass is open to Indian citizens only; closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.
Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen (120 km / 6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Lachen (9,400 ft)

Day 4: Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Return to Gangtok (250 km round trip)

Return to Lachen for lunch
Post-lunch, drive back to Gangtok
Overnight stay in Gangtok
Day 5: Departure – Gangtok to Bagdogra/NJP (125 km / 4–5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel
Transfer back to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station
